For over a decade, I’ve worked within communities to ensure that those with lived experience are at the forefront of change. I believe true leadership is built by those who have navigated the very systems they seek to transform.
My own journey began after fleeing domestic violence, which led to homelessness, poverty, and struggles with mental health and addiction. Feeling hopeless, I joined a leadership program at Working for Change in 2007, led by the late Pat Capponi—a psych survivor, author, and fierce advocate.
Under her mentorship, I grew from participant to program manager, immersing myself in community work, advocacy, and policy change. That experience shaped not only my leadership—but my purpose.
For the past 15 years, I’ve worked to ensure that lived experience isn’t just heard—but centered. From shaping policies to building grassroots leadership, I’ve learned from those who lead with heart, resilience, and truth.
My vision is to turn those insights into action—through accessible tools, storytelling, and leadership lessons rooted in lived experience. Whether through advocacy, animation, or education, I lead with compassion and purpose, helping others grow into their own power.
Because real leadership isn’t about perfection—it’s about showing up, sharing what you’ve lived, and building change from the inside out.
